Evdokia Ivanova Maneva was born on 20 March, 1945 in Sofia.
Degrees in Engineering and Economics.
Doctor of Economics.
Post-graduate studies in Management Systems, Systems Analysis and Investment Project Assessment.
Since 1990 she has worked at the Ministry of Environment - as chief of the Economy and Financing Department for six years included.
1997 - appointed deputy minister in the caretaker cabinet of Stefan Sofiyanski.
May 1997 - June 2001 - Minister of Environment in the Ivan Kostov cabinet.
2001 - Deputy to the 39th National Assembly, UDF.
2002 - elected leader of the Sofia city organization of the UDF.
2004 - joins the group of MPs (led by Ivan Kostov) who left the UDF and formed a separate parliamentary group of the UdDF and later founded a new political party Democrats for Strong Bulgaria.
2005 - she ran in the parliamentary elections (June 25) from the DSB and won a seat in the 40 National Assembly, representative from one of Sofia's districts.
